Activity : Attend 2nd Final Year Project 2 Briefing (Workshop in Results and Discussion) Objective : To be able to get a few tips o how to write a good chapter 4 and chapter 5 for thesis report. Content/Procedure: On 13.3.2019, the 2nd Final Year Project 2 Briefing have been held at TTL 1, conducted by Dr Imran. In the briefing, we are guided on finishing our writing for chapter 4 and chapter 5 thesis report. In chapter 4 we have to explain how the end results of our project, the output obtained and does the results we obtained manage to achieve the objective we set. Meanwhile in chapter 5, we are guided to write a good conclusion to finish our thesis Conclusion: by attending the Final Year Project 2 Briefing, I now can see to write good thesis and how to maintain the track on succeeding my project.
Activity : AD8232- Single Lead Heart Rate Monitor Objective : Searching and understanding the information about the sensor that will be used in this project. Content/Procedure: The AD8232 is an integrated signal conditioning block for ECG and other biopotential measurement applications. It is designed to extract, amplify, and filter small biopotential signals in the presence of noisy conditions, such as those created by motion or remote electrode placement. This design allows for an ultra low power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or an embedded microcontroller to acquire the output signal easily. The AD8232 can implement a two-pole high-pass filter for eliminating motion artifacts and the electrode half-cell potential. This filter is tightly coupled with the instrumentation architecture of the amplifier to allow both large gain and high-pass filtering in a single stage, thereby saving space and cost. Activity : Troubleshooting and final preparation for the project Objective : Completing the project and making sure the project works smoothly. Content/Procedure: in this week, i have been working hard on making the Connection to AD8232 to make result and the graph out from the heart . After the connection is done, i start to troubleshoot the project. But, with the coding still have a minor problem, it cannot detect a graph from the heart thought the body Conclusion: the project is 80% done with a few things needed to be touch up before the Exhibition Day.
