Activity :
Final decision on the FYP tittle project and introductory FYP 1 Briefing 

 Objective :
To decide and finalize the fyp tittle project and also the introductory FYP 1 briefing 

 Content/Procedure :

  • Met the Dr Ahmad Sary and decide on the FYP tittle 
  • Arrange with Dr Ahmad Sabry about the FYP tittle.
  • Dr Ahmad Sabry agreed to use the tittle as the final year project. 
  •  Dr Ahmad Sabry asked to remind him about registration into the FYP tittle 
  • Introductory FYP 1 briefing at TTL fram 3pm - 5pm 

Result / Analysis:
  • The FYP with tittle choose is " design OF A WEARABLE DEVICE FOR ECG CONTINUOUS MONITORING USING LABVIEW  "
  • Wearable device for ECG  is new device the can check the heart rate and skin temperature for our skin.
  • Most of this project have using the machine of the hospital to check the heart rate and skin temperature also the decease that have to our heart.
  • Design the project is more challenging than conventional of using Labview 
  • For the FYP 1 Introductory briefing, the speakers came out with the few things before get started with / proceed project :-
    • Choose the supervisors you are comfortable 
    • The FYP tittle no too complicated 
    • No 'LAST MINUTE'
    • Reminder about the dateline of the Fyp tittle registration 
    • List out the flow of how you going to conduct the project.
Conclusion:

  • Able to decide on the FYP tittle 
  • learned about the FYP tittle itself 
  • know how to get the with.
  • Study about the FYP in details.

Activity : AD8232- Single Lead Heart Rate Monitor Objective :  Searching and understanding the information about the sensor that will be used in this project. Content/Procedure: The AD8232 is an integrated signal conditioning block for ECG and other biopotential measurement applications. It is designed to extract, amplify, and filter small biopotential signals in the presence of noisy conditions, such as those created by motion or remote electrode placement. This design allows for an ultra low power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or an embedded microcontroller to acquire the output signal easily. The AD8232 can implement a two-pole high-pass filter for eliminating motion artifacts and the electrode half-cell potential. This filter is tightly coupled with the instrumentation architecture of the amplifier to allow both large gain and high-pass filtering in a single stage, thereby saving space and cost. WEEK 10

Activity : Troubleshooting and final preparation for the project Objective :  Completing the project and making sure the project works smoothly. Content/Procedure: in this week, i have been working hard on making the Connection to AD8232 to make result and the graph out from the heart . After the connection is done, i start to troubleshoot the project. But, with the coding still have a minor problem, it cannot detect a graph from the heart thought the body Conclusion: the project is 80% done with a few things needed to be touch up before the Exhibition Day.
