Discuss in details about the tittle of the FYP

Objective :
To learn more about the project before choosing it

Content/ Procedure :

  • I presented to him about my idea on FYP project based my ECG 
  • the project that i have interested with is the "ECG monitoring of heart rate by using LAB VIEW"
  • Dr Ahmad Sabry explained about the project that is better for my project 
Result and Analysis:
 
  • LAB VIEW for ECG signal processing 
    • Lab View with its signal processing capabilities provides you a robust and efficient environment for resolving ECG signal processing problems. This application note demonstrates how to use Lab View powerful tools in denouncing, analyzing, and extracting ECG signals easily and conveniently.
    • These tools can be also used in other biomedical signal processing applications such as
      •  Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)  
      • Electroencephalography (EEG)
      • several VIs are provided for ECG signal analysis
      • contains an ECG Feature Extraction application to extract ECG features

  • Dr Ahmad Sabry asked to install the Lab view software in laptop.

Conclusion:
  • Able to decide the best project to proceed with
  • Learn on how important to know in details about the term and the definitions.
  • Able to know in details about the FYP project before choosing it.
  • Know the about the difference between doing research in single area or multiple area.

Content/Procedure: On 13.3.2019, the 2nd Final Year Project 2 Briefing have been held at TTL 1, conducted by Dr Imran. In the briefing, we are guided on finishing our writing for chapter 4 and chapter 5 thesis report. Activity : AD8232- Single Lead Heart Rate Monitor Objective :  Searching and understanding the information about the sensor that will be used in this project. Content/Procedure: The AD8232 is an integrated signal conditioning block for ECG and other biopotential measurement applications. It is designed to extract, amplify, and filter small biopotential signals in the presence of noisy conditions, such as those created by motion or remote electrode placement. This design allows for an ultra low power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or an embedded microcontroller to acquire the output signal easily. The AD8232 can implement a two-pole high-pass filter for eliminating motion artifacts and the electrode half-cell potential. This filter is tightly coupled with the instrumentation architecture of the amplifier to allow both large gain and high-pass filtering in a single stage, thereby saving space and cost. WEEK 10

Activity : Troubleshooting and final preparation for the project Objective :  Completing the project and making sure the project works smoothly. Content/Procedure: in this week, i have been working hard on making the Connection to AD8232 to make result and the graph out from the heart . After the connection is done, i start to troubleshoot the project. But, with the coding still have a minor problem, it cannot detect a graph from the heart thought the body Conclusion: the project is 80% done with a few things needed to be touch up before the Exhibition Day.
