WEEK 1

 Activity :
Decide on the final year project tittle / list out possible tittle for fyp project .

Objective : 
To come out with good ideas regarding the project tittle in order to achieve good result at the end of the semester

Content/Procedure:

  • Meeting with Dr Ahmad Sabry to make his the supervisor for my final year project 1 and 2 and also search the project that suitable to become my project   
  • Meeting Dr Ahmad Sabry explain each of the project on how the project works and so on 
  • Dr. Ahmad Sabry gave ideas and also get to share ideas Dr Ahmad Sabry.
  • Some of the ideas can be use in the FYP , some is cannot.

Result and Analysis
Some of the ideas:

  • Study for best project for final year project to do 
  • Study for the ECG machine by using the earplug to check the high blood pressure by using the ear 
  • Study of ECG using monitoring by using LABVIEW programming to make the labview to get the result from that programming detect the ECG monitoring.
  • Study on nature inspired optimizing techniques for Load Frequency Control(LFC) in a two area interconnected reheat thermal system.
  • Study of anti-cheating algorithm based on advanced sensors for athletics events.
  • Dr Ahmad Sabry asked to check at the library about the recent FYP project report.


Conclusion:
  • Be able to know the basic about the other project 
  • Learn on how to study about the other project too.
  • Able to share ideas and learn new ideas generated from Dr Ahmad Sabry .

Activity : Attend 2nd Final Year Project 2 Briefing (Workshop in Results and Discussion) Objective :   To be able to get a few tips o how to write a good chapter 4 and chapter 5 for thesis report. Content/Procedure: On 13.3.2019, the 2nd Final Year Project 2 Briefing have been held at TTL 1, conducted by Dr Imran. In the briefing, we are guided on finishing our writing for chapter 4 and chapter 5 thesis report. In chapter 4 we have to explain how the end results of our project, the output obtained and does the results we obtained manage to achieve the objective we set. Meanwhile in chapter 5, we are guided to write a good conclusion to finish our thesis Conclusion: by attending the Final Year Project 2 Briefing, I now can see to write good thesis and how to maintain the track on succeeding my project.

Activity : AD8232- Single Lead Heart Rate Monitor Objective :  Searching and understanding the information about the sensor that will be used in this project. Content/Procedure: The AD8232 is an integrated signal conditioning block for ECG and other biopotential measurement applications. It is designed to extract, amplify, and filter small biopotential signals in the presence of noisy conditions, such as those created by motion or remote electrode placement. This design allows for an ultra low power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or an embedded microcontroller to acquire the output signal easily. The AD8232 can implement a two-pole high-pass filter for eliminating motion artifacts and the electrode half-cell potential. This filter is tightly coupled with the instrumentation architecture of the amplifier to allow both large gain and high-pass filtering in a single stage, thereby saving space and cost. WEEK 10

Activity : Troubleshooting and final preparation for the project Objective :  Completing the project and making sure the project works smoothly. Content/Procedure: in this week, i have been working hard on making the Connection to AD8232 to make result and the graph out from the heart . After the connection is done, i start to troubleshoot the project. But, with the coding still have a minor problem, it cannot detect a graph from the heart thought the body Conclusion: the project is 80% done with a few things needed to be touch up before the Exhibition Day.
